Access & your visit

Plan for
your particular visit.

The dining spaces, historic house tour, outdoor Square and inn properties have different routes. Start with the experience you want and consider the whole journey—from arrival to your seat, room or tour.

A useful first conversation

Start with
the place.

Name the dining space, tour or accommodation you have in mind. Ask about the entrance, steps, seating and bathroom route that you would actually use.

Share practical arrangements that would help. You do not need to disclose private medical details.

01 / Dining & arrival

Consider
the full route.

Springhouse Tavern, the historic dining rooms and the Abigail Adams Ballroom are distinct settings. Choose the space first, then ask how to reach it from the parking or unloading point.

The currently published sources do not establish a complete step-free route for each dining space. Before making arrangements, ask about the entrance in use, steps or thresholds, seating and the bathroom route.

Helpful details to discuss

Which room will your party use?
Are there steps from the arrival point?
What is the route to the seating and bathroom?
Where should a guest be dropped off?

02 / Guided house tours

A closer look.
A route to consider.

The published guided tour crosses three floors and six staircases and lasts an hour or more. Consider that full route before choosing a date.

If stairs or the length of the visit may affect your plans, ask the house about the route and what arrangements, if any, are available. An alternative route or step-free tour has not been verified.

03 / Inn stays & the farmhouse

Choose the stay.
Understand the route.

Floor descriptions help explain the accommodation. They do not establish the entrance route, steps, door clearances or bathroom arrangements.

Little Round Top Farm

A separate property.
A separate arrival.

The farmhouse has five bedrooms and its own arrival arrangements. Its entrance, internal stairs and bathroom routes require confirmation. Obtain the actual property address before traveling; ask for its own directions rather than using the tavern map.

04 / The outdoor Square

An outdoor visit.
Its own details.

Dobbin House Square is separate from the guided indoor house tour. Its document displays and commemorative bell are listed by Destination Gettysburg with free admission and round-the-clock public access.

Outdoor does not establish a step-free route. Ask about the approach, surfaces, any changes in level and seating if these matter to your visit.

05 / Visiting with a group

Plan the arrival
with your organizer.

For a private, student or motorcoach visit, agree the assigned room and the practical route with Group Sales. Include drop-off, any steps, seating and bathroom questions in that conversation before instructions go to your guests or driver.

06 / Using this website

Need help finding
the information?

If a page, menu or booking link is difficult to use, contact the house by phone or email. Tell the team which page you were using and what you were trying to do.

You can ask for information by phone. Keep payment information and private medical details out of an ordinary email.

Access information checked October 26, 2026 against the house’s accommodation descriptions, published tour route, and Square visitor listing. For current entrance and bathroom routes, discuss the particular experience with the house.
